Taizhou Marine Product Development Association Established
Approved by the Taizhou Civil Affairs Bureau on August 20, 2025, the Taizhou Marine Product Development Association was officially established to promote the development and collaboration of the local marine product manufacturing industry.
The association was initiated following a Taizhou Maritime Safety Administration industry survey, aiming to address issues such as fragmented development and homogeneous competition in the marine product sector while supporting the upgrading of Taizhou's shipbuilding and repair industry.
The association will serve as a bridge between government, enterprises, and ship inspection agencies, advocating for policy support and promoting industry self-regulation and standardization.
Key Functions and Plans
Industry Collaboration: Establish a "Taizhou-Made" marine product exhibition and sales platform, explore partnerships with global industry leaders, and foster an open and shared industrial ecosystem.
Standardization & Regulation: Develop industry standards, guide enterprises toward differentiated development, and prevent malicious competition.
Policy Support: Provide specialized insights for local marine economy development and assist businesses in seizing market opportunities.
On August 29, 2025, the General Assembly of Members was held, where the association’s charter was approved, and its organizational structure was elected.
The association is expected to strengthen industry coordination and enhance the competitiveness of Taizhou’s marine product sector in the coming years.
